Came to Rancho Grande because I was craving some enchiladas. They started us off with some chips and salsa as well as a little cup of soup to start . The soup he. Tomato based flavor which was good but I by had 2 small prices of squash in the cup which was ok with me because the broth tasted good. The service was friendly and quick the plate seemed small but was good enough for the appetite I had. The Mexican plate is what i ordered came with a crispy taco 2 cheese enchiladas, rice , beans and a small dallup of avocado. The crunchy taco was crunchy and not oily topped with fresh lettuce and tomatoes the enchiladas were cheesy and the sauce had a great taste to it. The rice and beans were also good. I would definitely come again.

The food and service were great. The ambience is nice and seems very adult like. The food was perfectly made.

We came from Houston to the basilica de San Juan. We were all starving and glad we chose El Rancho -Everything was delicious, it was our party if 7 and a baby and the Pancis, queso fundido, carne guisada, mole, enchiladas all delicious. The only thing that might bother someone is if you don't care for very very dim lighting then this place is not for you. Service was great and they attended to our big party extremely fast.

We went here on the recommendations of locals and were not disappointed. We were greeted at the door by friendly staff who checked on us throughout our dinner. We were served complimentary chips, salsa and queso. We had the Fajita Parilla which was enough for two. Another in our party had the street tacos which he said was delicious. I didn't drink but the place had an awesome looking bar.

We had a party of 16. The food was awesome and there was plenty of it!!! The waitstaff was very attentive and fast while the restaurant was pretty full it did not feel like we were wanting for space. Service and food were excellent

Although it was a Sunday after church and parking was lacking, our party of five was seated within about fifteen minutes. Our server was at the table almost immediately for our drink order and was super attentive throughout the meal. And this place was packed! He took our food order without writing anything down which concerned us, but the order came out perfect, just as we ordered it. And was the food good? You bet! The fajitas were tender and the beef ribs cooked to perfection and flavorful. The portions were huge, if you leave hungry it's your fault. This has got to be one of the best Mexican restaurants in the Valley. Down side, parking is a hassle because of the small lot. And it is noisy. They were busy and the restaurant is like a cave so there is an echo. But overall, very good.

We had just got out of church, and you know how that is. The place was packed. Not a lot of parking. The place is has plenty of seating. Nothing outdoor, thanks be to God, cause it gets hot in McCallen. They had a check in folder at the counter. The person behind the counter only took call in orders. The host was seating people and always looking for a table that needed to be cleaned for the next round of customers. Our waitress was prompt. At first, she made sure the ladies at the front of the table were taken care of. I was treated like a leper, lol. Only got one drink and was never tend to again. I kinda made my own plate. Chicken fried chicken with queso and pico de gallo, rice and beans. I have this plate at another restaurant which is really good. They chicken fried chicken was dry, the queso was not too bad, they melted the cheese on there like they do for enchiladas. Then I just added the pico de gallo. My wife had the beef enchiladas. She always gets the better plate. Her plate came with three stuffed beef enchiladas, rice and beans. She tore it up. The wait for our food took awhile, but we had great company so it gave us time to talk. All in all. We would go back.

I've said it before and I'll say it again... BANDERA TACOS are a must! The fajita is cooked to perfection. The tortillas are handmade (soft and delicious). The side of rice and beans are also very good.

So far this restaurant is proving to be very delicious! The service is on point!! I'm not even halfway through my drink and I got a refill with extra ice! Loving this atmosphere! OK so got finished with the food... And it was very delicious! The enchilada Suiza's as per my friend she says they tasted really good! My plate was also very delicious the flavors were very well balanced nothing was too salty and nothing was under flavor. My Friend's Daughter had a burger, and she almost ate the whole thing!!! The establishment is very clean, shout out to the Cleaning staff. Friendly greeting staff! We truly enjoyed this experience! Thank You to the Managers or team leads working the floor and Thank You Marcelo for being on point as our Waiter! Thank you to the other Waitresses who served our 10people take! We did not wait long at all!
